PAYMENT & BOOKING POLICY

• • All deposits are non-refundable; however, may be applied towards another tour within one (1) year.

  • Trip cancellations in writing within 30 days before departure date can be credited towards another tour within one (1) year,  minus a fee equal to 30% of total tour costs.

  • Trip cancellations in writing within 15 days before departure can be credited towards another tour within one (1) year,  minus a fee equal to 75% of total journey costs.

  • If you choose an installment option, payments are automatically deducted from your credit/debit card each 30 days for the designated installments.

FLIGHT SCHEDULE

• • All flights for our packages depart from & return to Dulles International Airport (IAD) on South African Airways. Individuals outside of Washington, DC who choose flight packages are responsible for getting to DC on their own.

  • Flights are scheduled to depart at 5:40 pm EST from Dulles International Airport (IAD) on your departure date and are scheduled to arrive at Kotoka International Airport ( ACC) the next day after your departure date at 8:10 am GMT.

  • Return flights depart at 11:30 pm GMT from Kotoka International Airport (ACC) on your departure date and arrive back at Dulles International Airport (IAD) the next day at 6:30 am. Individuals outside of Washington, DC who choose flight packages are responsible for getting home from DC on their own.

ADDITIONAL COSTS TO CONSIDER

• • Passport: If you do not have a passport,  apply ASAP. You will need to have it if you’re booking your flight with us no later than 50 days before departure.
  • Yellow Fever Shot:   This is the only required immunization shot. If you’ve had the shot once in your life, you don’t need it again but make sure you have your yellow immunization card. Religious and medical waivers on letterhead acceptable.
  • Other Shots: No other shots are REQUIRED, however, others may be suggested. Use your own judgment.
  • Malaria Pills:  Please check with your PCP and insurance company.
